EASTERN PANORAMA DRAKENSBERG DAY TOURS

The Panorama Route is one of the most beautiful and popular travel destinations in South Africa. It leads through the rugged mountain range of the northern Drakensberg in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The Panorama Route passes the north-eastern part of the Great Escarpment, the inland plateau declines abruptly and steeply and opens up fantastic views of the plains of the Lowveld a thousand metres below. 

This tour visits the Victorian Town of Pilgrim’s Rest, Robber’s Grave, Blyde River Canyon, The Three Rondavels, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and if there is time Lisbon Waterfalls.  This scenic area is steeped in early Southern African history. 

Lunch is enjoyed at legendary Harries Original Pancake Restaurant where savoury of sweet, freshly prepared pancakes and farm fresh salads are served.

SWAZILAND DAY TOURS

An early collection from your hotel/lodge and on to Jeppe’s Reef/Matsomo Border Post and into Swaziland; travel through the town of Pigg’s Peak set high in the mountains, via vast forests of Pine and Eucalyptus trees and on to the principal city of Swaziland, Mbabane.

Travel via the Ezulwini Valley (valley of Heaven) to visit the local and extensive craft/curio market and then to Malkerns and the colourful Swazi Candles Factory where handmade candles are crafted in a menagerie of animals, traditional styles and other intriguing forms.

Lunch is served “al fresco” (weather permitting) at Malandela's Restaurant in Malkerns. After lunch we’re onto Ngwenya Glass Works where recycled glass is used to create an astounding display of glasses, jewellery and other artworks.

SWAZILAND CULTURAL TOUR

The Matsamo Cultural Village is situated on the Swaziland border, and is a must for visitors to experience true Swazi culture.  Enjoy traditional Swazi singing and dancing, and, afterwards enjoy an appetizing lunch true to the Swazi people.

MOZAMBIQUE DAY TOUR

Mozambique is a fascinating country, bearing the scars of civil war yet harbouring a vibrant culture and intense natural beauty. We depart after breakfast at your lodge/hotel travelling into Mozambique via the Lebombo border post.  We’ll have a short city tour on our way to lunch.  Indulge on lobster, prawns, fresh fish or chicken accompanied by Portuguese beer or wine on the patio overlooking the sea.

After lunch we make a stop at the local craft and curio market before returning back home.
